Actually, I did't enjoy the nasty shit that went on. I do think there was a time when there was a bit of real music posting which was not really affected by the bullshit. If people had stuck to those boards, the bullshit wouldn't have become predominate.
As for my "talking to myself" threads, that was a sardonic comment on a certain souse's assertions that I was doing just that when certain other nyms were posting to me.

I think that this board, the older one, as well as DR/G2, became so tied up with the METAL SLUDGE wars that they were/are irreversibly bound with those wars. When the wars died down a bit, things just could not get back to the way they used to be.
